Okay, currently we have (correct me if I'm wrong) all of three things being run for TCon. I want to run Cosmic Encounter, there should be poker after we vacate the big room on Saturday night, and Billy wishes to play Talisman with people.
This is not nearly enough to justify taking a large room from TCon. As much as I hate to say this, panels can utilize the space better. I realize that there will be open gaming constantly, but that's not really something that we can give to the con to put in the program book, they've already got that in festhall.
So, I would like to have, by next Sunday, enough volunteers to run things to use the room from Friday afternoon to Saturday night. If I don't get that, then I am going to be forced to tell Ed that I cannot guarantee the room being used throughout the con, and he'll probably put us back in festhall and give the room to other things that can use it better.
Before Sunday there is a normal Wednesday meeting, and a Game Day on Saturday. Email is back up; if you post something about this to the list and I don't respond then hit me at randrews@geekfu.org. You all have plenty of chance to decide if you want to do something for con, and tell me so. If you don't want to do anything for the con, then, well, don't expect the con to do much for you.
