Doctors in Vancouver, Canada are apparently smoking a lot of crack. What utter godswallop, and from so called respectable scientists as well.
Forgot to mention in my last post that we saw Harry Potter at the IMAX theatre on Wednesday. Very good movie, but naturally the whole 3D thing just gave me a headache as usual. :) Looking forward to the next one.
Busy weekend, spent Saturday shopping and then took Thomas to see Transformers on Sunday (ok, ok I wanted to go myself too). Excellent movie. The usual suspects over for dinner in the evening. Also watched "The Devil Wears Prada" which turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
Today, went with FIL and bought a new rifle as either a very late Father's Day gift or a very early Birthday present. 'Tis a .243 Winchester. Can't find a picture of it online, anywhere but it's an autoloader with a nice scope attached. Won't be able to try it out until at least next week, though. Got some ideas for a pistol as well which is my next firearms related purchase, methinks.
