It's been a fun filled few days.

The weekend was very nice. Spent Saturday just generally chilling out and running errands. Adam came over in the evening for a few drinks and announced he found a pool table (we'd discussed this a few weeks ago), so Sunday we all drove down to Kissimmee to collect it. So, we're now the proud owners of a 7ft pool table that cost us 10% of the asking price (thank you Internet!). The story goes, it was owned by someone who barely used it then probably dropped dead of a cocaine overdose. The person who inherited it gave to his Father who then lost his house. So, after a complicated turn of events it ends up in my hands. Sunday was also Taylor's sweet 16 party so we spent the day at her house for a family barbecue.

Monday evening we spent 4 hours assembling half of the table, most of which was spent balancing it. I never thought pool table maintenance would be this complex. Should have the rest of it assembled soon, but read on for the next chapter....

Yesterday we had to take Eric to the hospital as he's been basically going downhill healthwise the last few months but particularly the last week. Turns out his end stage renal failure (diabetes is so much fun) has turned into complete renal failure so unless they can figure something out with his kidneys in the next 24 hours he's basically looking at dialysis and a transplant in the near future. Scary stuff. Not wanting to be outdone, Isabella also ended up in the hospital last night with a 105F fever caused by a bladder infection. After giving her some antibiotics and Tylenol things settled down and she should be fine by tomorrow. Didn't get home until 4:30 am this morning as a result.

Who says life is dull?
