Alec Smith died on Saturday. He was the guy who introduced me to Ham Radio and fostered my childhood interest in all things technical. Nobody knew he was sick until last week when he was taken to the hospital and now he's gone. Very sad.
Quite weekend otherwise, I worked on Saturday (this is gonna be a weekly thing for at least one more month). We are probably going to move house again next month as the lease is up and we really don't want to resign with the current owner. I'm not at all happy about the prospect of moving as we just now got settled but I think it's for the best. Financially it's gonna hurt, though.
Apparently, Austria is home to somefreaky people. Been following this developing story all week and this guy just disgusts me.
