Forgot to post my diet update as I thought it was this Friday, but it was actually last Sunday. On March 23, 2007 I drank my last regular soda (a Coca Cola) and started drinking diet sodas. I also cut down on other sugary foods and junk foods.

Since then I have:

-Lost 46lbs (that's about 3 1/4 stone) to bring my weight to 178lb from a starting weight of 224lb. I'm actually 2lb below my recommended weight now.
-Dropped from a 38" waist to a 34" waist
-Can now fit into XL T-Shirts again.
-Have a blood pressure of 120/80 for the first time in 10 years.

I'm still not drinking regular sodas anymore, in fact if I have even a sip of one I get a massive headache. I've also switched to 2% milk and other low fat products wherever possible.

The next step will be a visit to the Doctor to see if my cholesterol is back to normal levels, which is the reason I started the diet in the first place.

Very proud of myself, this years plan is to bite the bullet and join a gym...
