One of the things that sucks about moving is that I no longer have internet access at home. Hopefully by next week we'll have the cable switched over (along with everything else). Spent several days fighting back and forth with RoadRunner over why their backup dialup services isn't working. Supposedly fixed, but haven't tested it yet.

We're living variously out of boxes and car trunks at the moment but everything is slowly settling down. The kids seem to have settled in nicely and the dogs have finally stop whining all night due to the house smelling strange. Starting to feel like a proper home at last!

Thomas and Alexander both have colds, Alexander with yet another ear infection to boot. He has been placed on some more intensive medicine to see if that stops them once and for all. Otherwise, he'll have to have surgery. He is not very happy with having to get 3 injections over 3 days but his ear seems a lot better.

One of my former colleagues suffered a stroke, he's only in his mid 30s so it's a shock to everyone. He's currently in a coma and the prognosis is not good. I hope he recovers as he's a good guy.

No more baseball for us thanks to some pretty crappy offense and pitching. Oh well, next year is our year (didn't I say that this year? :)) and we have a lot to be proud of this year. Good luck to everyone in the ALCS/NLCS.
