Youji loves to tease Ritsuka, though he's fiercely protective of him, and if anyone else tried to hurt him, Youji would make sure they paid for it. He really is among the few people he might consider a friend, but he is unused to such a relationship, and tends to treat him poorly. He is still learning how to be a friend.

Youuji finds him very interesting. He reminds him of Soubi, which annoys him in ways, but is comforting. He's growing fond of him.
