Wow Maddy got a promotion at the station, which is a yay thing except she's going to live there even more than she does now if I know her. Maybe I should get Jack to give me one of those walkie talkies so I can tell her to come home once in a while. I don't mind visiting the station but you know cops think it's funny when you're there to kiss your wife and all so I have to distract them with carefully placed sugar and coffee until I leave.
And on Friday I have an actual meeting with the Mayor, you know to talk about becoming the official city construction crew, and oh god my nerves have nerves right now. I can't decide if it's worse if he says no in small and childish terms like I expect, or you know laugh, there may be laughing and pointing, or if he says yes.
Um maybe I'll call in sick that day.
I haven't told anyone on the crew what I'm doing, oh god should I? You know all this decision making is making me crazy. Hmm Tatiana's kind of on the most sane side of all the people on the crew, nicely sarcastic and not afraid to tell me I'm an insane moron. Maybe I'll run it by her before I tell the rest of them.
Maddy is telling me I'm an idiot and I agree with her, then she bops me on the arm because I'm not supposed to agree with her and I;m making her crazy. I'm predicting a lot more eye rolling until this is over with on her part.
