Oooh, I love this line so much:

"Buraku, he thought, smiling. I choose music, and medicine chooses me. Can’t get away from it."

It just seems to totally sum House up.

I do like the idea that Wilson is allowed to touch the edding *smile*.
I know you wrote nothing about those habit of House but I do like my imagination of the differencial diagnosis. Thanks a lot for sharing this great update. I enjoyed it very much.

It's the small details that can bring a story to life and you've done a great job with adding the little bits that make House House, while still allowing him to have somewhat of a different identity.

He still wants to live by his own rules, (the reason he didn't become a doctor) with the quick uptake on reading people and the sharp-edged wit.

And Wilson is the curious one; being first a little disbelieving until they've begun on the differential, and I can just imagine his thought processes as his own respect for House's abilities increases.

Back story on House, Lisa and Janet will be included later? Yes? Or maybe offered as DVD extras afterwards?

This story continues to impress me. I truly hope House will get his diagnosis before he meets the same fate as the canon version.
