What movie do you watch when you need a good laugh? What about a good cry? Are there particular films you watch when you are in particular moods, like happy, frustrated, tired, etc?
good laugh: 40 yr old virgin; good cry: Hanging Up, Big Fish, Moulin Rouge; Happy: Saved!, Boondock Saints, prolly more; Frustrated: i dont think i've ever been frustrated and thought 'hey i should watch a movie right now'; Tired: I've watched Amélie when i was tired, that helped me get to sleep (not that it was boring, i love that movie; but the whole subtitles thing made me sleepy).
Movies I have for when I'm in the mood to watch a certain actor/actress:
Hugh Laurie: House MD, Maybe Baby, Flight of the Phoenix, Stuart Little 1 & 2, Girl from Rio, 101 Dalmations, (holy shit i just looked on Amazon.com and Hugh narrated a show about Harry Potter! omgz!)
Ewan McGregor: The Island (omg LOVED it!!!), Moulin Rouge, Trainspotting, Down With Love, Big Fish, A Life Less Ordinary, Eye of the Beholder, (sorry Ewan, i dont do Star Wars)
Sean Patrick Flannery: Dead Zone (tv), Boondock Saints, The Gunman, 30 Days Until I'm Famous, Borderline, Lone Hero, Acceptable Risk, Run the Wild Fields, Simply Irresistable, Girl, Best Men, Suicide Kings, (who knew he played Powder? I sure didnt but I'm really not interested in seeing him as a bald albino)
