(no subject)
overall, this was an up week. still tomorrow and i guess the weekend, but that's fine, i really needed it, february sucks monkey balls, although the super bowl was exciting.
- sometime in the next few weeks i have to go into the city to have an informal interview with BDM and matt wang about an 'internship' in game design this summer; Will says chances are good that it's a go-ahead, but i don't want to get to sure. but getting paid to have hands-on experience in r&d is really rare and crazy good. especially since..
- if this works out i get to stay in Will and Jon's sublet during the summer which involves a big tv, xbox 360, and cooking at the low low cost of $400/month. the place is a dump and has no furniture and they don't clean often enough, but it should be okay.
- cleared things up with will because he was more or less like 'interested??' and i was like 'sorz, but obv not' and then *insert really long and interesting and therapeutic convo* then realized that we're bffs and not going to sleep this summer because we talk to much
- 320 gig internal hard drive for my laptop should be in the mail soon, so i'll have so much space for nothing, but i'm excited for the replacement process. and possibility of dual-booting into windows is good
- i also changed the background on my computer for the first time since i got it, strange to get used to, but change is good/needed
- got study abroad application in the mail. decided to apply directly to a japanese uni because it's 18k less than going to the same school through the program (and a quarter of the price of slc, so bonus)
- steve got 12th and $5,500 at the magic pro tour in malaysia, so he's happy and is flying to vancouver for a grand prix in the morning. exciting stuff. and here i thought that carnegie mellon would be better for my development in magic..
- scored a free justice ticket because someone backed out, so should be good, i'm pretty happy because i couldn't afford otherwise

- started playing soccer again and came to realization that my legs don't quite bend that way anymore. ouch.
oh, and snow day tomorrow for a winter storm that hasn't appeared yet, so bonus.
