(no subject)
It's been a while since I last posted. Things have been pretty well. Aside from my car and laptop breaking (again!!!). Work has been on a slow, yet kinda steady base. Hoping things really start to pick up for the holidays soon. I'm gonna be working 6 day weeks in hopes that we're busy. Which we better be because then I technically don't qualify for overtime. I'm not really worried about it.
Things with Adam have been going really great. We've been talking a lot more about living together, which is nice. I'm hoping we can find a nice place and that everything works out. Things just seem to keep getting better. We're talking about taking a small vacation for our one year anniversary in February. Perhaps to Vegas for the weekend. We looked at some deals and it seems like the best one will cost us about $700 for flight and hotel. Just gotta see if we can both get the time off or not. I know I already have most of that weekend available. I'm really hoping we can because I'd love to go and do something special.
I also recently started up a photography blog and facebook page. I've been getting some good hits. Already booked a wedding. I'm hoping to be able to assistant some local photographers and attend some webinars over spring and summer. I'd really like to get a decent website built up as well. I definitely need to spend more time practicing with lighting, especially low light situations like wedding receptions.
Also, finally got to see some proofs from my boudoir photography session. I get to order a little book and whatever prints I'd like. I'm excited, but some of the photos are missing. Actually, a whole outfit is missing from the set and the photographer said she didn't remember doing that part. I hope she still has the pictures and puts them up soon. Otherwise that kinda sucks.
