Driving the Mars Land Rover

Another snippet highlight from yesterday - I spent part of the conference cocktail party chatting merrily with the guy whose day job is to drive one of the Mars Land Rover for JPL. He is here because he is the volunteer chair for the Robotics & Automation Societies Conference and is learning how to run a better conference.

Yes, I am such a geek because it seriously was a highlight.
