Big Bang Soundtrack/Notes: The Greatest Thing You'll Ever Learn (RPS AU, J2, R)
Okay, let's start of with more thank-yous!

As for the fic, gosh, it turned into a monster. I never dreamed that it would hit 50k, no less go over! It's been a great, fun, exhausting journey, though, with heaps of artistic license at my side when it came to the film, haha. Speaking of which, Outfest is real! and kickass. I just... tweaked its submission dates a little bit. :D
But really, this fic was such a trek. It started out as this... crazy, crazy thing that I was legit mobbed with in the middle of the night. I just sat up and sort of went, "JSQUARED MOULIN ROUGE? THAT SOUNDS AWESOME!" and set about putting it together. At the beginning, this was mainly just for funsies. I thought it was too silly (too amazing!) for me to ever handle. But then... I just went at it. I signed up for Big Bang thinking that I was going to be churning out a Dean/Castiel fic -- but this plot bunny wouldn't let go. I started prattling on about it in my personal lj, and it looked something like this:

SO I'm thinking I'm thinking I'm thinking JARED as Christian ("Jared Padalecki, an aspiring writer, moves from the comfort of his home in San Antonio, Texas, to the dark streets of New York City, equipped with his brother's hand-me-down laptop, the '99 edition of Microsoft Word, and a firm belief in freedom, beauty, truth, and above all things, love," y/y!), Monsieur Jensen Ross Ackles as the ever so lovely Satine (HOO HOO HOO), JDM without a doubt as Zidler, and I think Chad's going to be Toulouse. Or the Argentinean.
I'm still musing over the rest of Toulouse's crew, not to mention THE DUKE. I was racking my mind for people who would fit, and the first name that came to mind was . . .
JIM BEAVER.

HULK SMASH! and then Duke gets seriously whacked..."
