decision!
Thanks for all your input on Anna's Inaugural Glasses Debate 2010! In disagreement with the majority of lj commenters, but in agreement with the slight majority of voters overall, the slight majority of people who saw me in person, the slight majority of my gut instinct, and Lester, I went with frame #2. Maybe part of the reason is that my personal style tends to change veerrryyy slowly--this may be the biggest single change to my everyday self since I got my hair chopped off back in 2005!--so I'm a bit hesitant about getting the mildly more assertive frames for my first pair. (Hmm, that makes me sound quite stodgy, doesn't it; let me qualify that by saying I've gotten some pretty great updates in the jackets, jeans, backpack, and bicycle departments in recent months. I just like to get things that are as much or more like "me" than the things I have, and I'm generally happy about having a consistent "me.") And @justin, I get the insurance discount once a year, so I can go wild next year if I so desire :)
