Merry Christmas People!
How did you spent your christmas? =)
Well, for us, we went to the outskirts of Shanghai and visited 朱家角, an ancient water town located near Shanghai. There are still people living in there currently.
It was crazy, since it was located further away from the town area, we spent close to 1.5~2hours travelling. After reaching the nearest MRT station, we still have to take another RMB11shuttle bus to reach there.
As we proceed, the first thing I spotted was the tortoise!
Then Shera said that this!
Is the Kusu Island tortoise species! And it's forbidden to keep/sell in Singapore (except for Kusu Island of couse).

Looks yummy! Doesn't it?! So sorry that I always upload pictures of FOOD! haha~

After that, we had our necklace made here! This lady in the picture will carve the name onto the stone you choose for just RMB15 each! Same goes for the rice carving. =)
As we walked further in, we found this unique store selling bags made of cloth!
So tempted to buy one~ =(
Bought some accessories and stuffs on the way, when we were about to leave, we spotted Shera's Smelly Beancurd!
ooooo...
Ok, enough of the food, after our shopping at 朱家角, we headed to meet Joseph, our boss at Tyco Flow Control for dinner. He's treating us a BIG BIG LUXURIOUS MEAL~~
Had our dinner @ 老北京。 Famous for its duck coz it's cooked the traditional way. And know what?! One small duck cost around RMB188 （~SGD38). This 老北京 sounds familiar, does it has branches in Singapore too? Anyway, look! the serving of the duck!
But indeed, it's worth it! Super nice! The skin of the duck is to be eaten as part of a pancake-like thingy.

Together with some sauce, wrap it in whatever way you like and shove it into your mouth. I bet you'lll definitely like this! Coz the combi is simply wonderful~
After dinner, we split. Joseph went home to continue his work. And for us, we went to somewhere near the Oriental Pearl Tower to chill~
Went to 新天地 and chose a restaurant cum bar to chill. Didn't really want to enter a pub/club. Choose to sit outside the restaurant since it's smoking area inside.
As we drank and gossip, this is how Chinny cui-ed!
(1) Before she started drinking her COCKTAIL.
(2) 30 min after she drank less than half the cocktail!
HAHAHAHAHA~~~~~~~~~~ Guess Chinny is no better than me in terms of drinking~
For me, as usual, my face turned super red machiam tomato. HAHAHAHAHA~~
But I'm still not drunk yet ok!
After we billed & took a cab,
Chinny asked: " Did I get back my change? Am I dreaming?"
Couldn't remember her exact words but it's somewhere along the line. And it's definitely funny when you hear it on the spot + her tone of her voice.
Haha! She couldn't differentiate between reality and Chin's World by then.
The rest of us pondered over her words and ... ...
... Went back to collect our change. -.-
