HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
3 days off in China for everyone~
And we decided to travel to Nanjing - the shopping heaven! =D
It was peak season, couldn't get cheap train tickets so we had to buy tickets that are a bit more pricey.
There's only 2 class, Hard & Soft seats, obviously soft seats are more comfortable and hence, more expensive as compared.
As we anticipate our high-class train journey, this was what we got.
Doesn't look as comfortable as we thought it would be huh?
As we depart towards Nanjing~~~~~
After 5 hours of journey.....
We are finally at Nanjing!!!!! =D
Checked in to our Budget Hotel. 185RMB per night per room. so it's like SGD30~40. Didn't really expect anything.
Our rooms are located on the second floor.
There's a bathtub to the left for the toliet but it was pathetic. There was rust in it and cocokroaches can crawl in through the bathtub sewage hole. We witnessed it on our second night. -.- dammm irritating.
Anyway, headed out to Xin Jie Kou and some departmental stores for some shopping and FOOOOOOOOODDDDD!!!!!!!! =D
Went to take their METRO and realized their train tokens are cute! It's a coin-like thing.(below)
Headed to their town area Xin Jie Kou.
Actually Nanjing is quite small as compared to other provinces but definitely a shopping heaven for shopaholics! Too bad I'm in the wrong season. Manicures there are like 1Yuan for each finger nia. Cheap like hell but low price = low quality as well. I did french manicure and couldn't last for a week. -.- The person who did my fingers simply spaaaammm too much white nail polish on my fingers till it couldn't dry even after 3 hours. -.-
