GRAAAAAADES!
I got my grades for OB/GYN back.
My preceptor gave me a perfect score. On each of the 17 categories that we are evaluated on, he gave me an "Excellent," which I guess is the equivalent of an A. On the free-text portion, he said:
"Never before have I walked into a room to deliver a patient's baby and had her ask for my student to do it instead. But recently, one asked for Caitlin by name, and it was after the end of her rotation."
And my shelf score? 97th percentile.
All together, it's enough to get me Honors for the OB/GYN rotation. I am extremely happy. I am not ashamed to brag about this one.
Hopefully I will do one tenth as well on my Internal Med exam/rotation.
