(no subject)
so im reading "Every Man A Tiger" detailing the man who orchestrated the air campaign in Operation Desert Storm... and i just got to the "Good" part, america launching the first sorties against iraq. Frankly i dont even remember ANYTHING about the gulf war as it happend. i mean, it was 15-16 years ago? but at anyrate its really sobering thinking about it.
The first attack (if you dont count the Tomohawks racing from the ships in the persian gulf) was a small band of 8 choppers, a radar bird, and then like 7 apaches that hit an advance warning radar. Its just crazy to think about what has to be going through their head...
i dunno, ill probably expand on this later, but i just got home from work and i dont feel like typing and composing the thoughts in my skullzorz right now...
