okay, so last night, playing world of warcraft, im on ventrilo (a program that allows you to talk with others via a mic) and were fighting the final boss in Zul'Gurub, it is a long fight that is very boring, so in my bored willingness to get the fight over with i proclaim over vent "God, this fight is Fucking Gay" and immediatly someone pipes up "LEARN SOME NEW FUCKING ADJECTIVES" im like, okay, fuck what the fuck is your problem, and leave it at that.
i nearly immediatly recieve a private message in game saying that i should maybe watch myself because this gentleman is in fact gay... so i just kina say whatever and am prepared to leave it at that. Then the guy starts going on about it, how i should learn some new adjectives, so being the provoker that i am just say "Well, quit being so GAY about it." the guy immediatly freaks out, and in guild chat tells us how "YOU FUCKS SHOULDNT EVEN BE HERE" (Me and 10ish other members of my old guild just joined this new one) and that "IF I WAS A FUCKING OFFICER I WOULD KICK YOU GUYS SO FUCKING FAST."
now... i play this game to have fun, and i try not to piss anyone off, but this guy just handled it all wrong, and the only reason why i provoked him the second time, the 1st being accidental, was because he freaked on me.
at anyrate ive sort of been handed a informal "warning" that i may have to watch my language. i find this unacceptable. lol. every day in guild chat i see the word gay multiple times, i hear it on vent, among other things.
Lets take the word Retarded as an example. i saw it in guild chat yesterday. I have 2 uncles that are mentally handicapped. Okay, did i flip out? no. i understand that retarded is a term in common usage, and that no matter what my personal feelings are, some people are still going to use that word. Just as i have no plans on altering my use of the word gay.
but yeah, woopie for drama with people i dont even know!
anywho as far as World of Warcarft is concerned i am at a very exciteing time. As far as content i want to be into, i'm finally at a step where i dont feel "behind" or distraught over my progression in the game. i was getting bored for a while, but now the fires of blackwing lair have fueled me into a 2nd wind, of what im sure will be many more months of enjoyment.
my WoW resume is now expanded to include:
Kills for every boss in Molten core, including Ragnaros
A full clear of ZG, including Hakkar
A couple of Kazzak kills
An Azuregos kill
i now strive to move onto blackwing lair, wich i should get the first knotch on my axe tonight as i expect stellar performances from everyone in "Taken" to bring down Razorgore, and possibly more. :)
also, i want to take down one of the new Green Dragons, but it seems the damn things are never up.
