hello friends
I've been seriously MIA from lj for the past few months, well years I should say. I can't remember the last time I made an actual post, besides one-liners of my journey to Spain :)
Well, I'm here now. The school isn't quite what it's cracked up to be; all the students in my program are complaining and bitching about the (unnecessary) classes we have and the (useless) teacher. Seriously, some of the teachers just cannot teach! They're from the industry and have lots of experience but that does not mean they are able to teach!! One particular teacher comes to mind. She's a nice lady really, but she just can't explain things properly and when you ask her to explain something she gets really frustrated and flustered and it makes you think that you're just stupid for not getting it, but actually she's the one who isn't doing her job properly.
Anyhoo, apart from school, marbella's pretty dead at the moment. It's low tourist season so not a lot of people out and about. Haven't visited the club scene yet because it's the same people from school who go there, and honestly I don't want to see the people I see all day at night as well. Yes, they're different at night when they're half drunk but meh. I miss my chicas from Alicante!!
Speaking of chicas from Alicante, I'm meeting one of them in Cadiz last weekend of April. Can't wait!! :) Cadiz is supposed to have one of the best beaches in Spain.
Midterms are starting next week and will be going on until the 26th of March. Last one on the 26th and off to Madrid the same day for spring break. Yay! I'm so burned out that I cannot wait to be lazy for 9 days straight. Will be visiting Alicante for a day as well! :)
