I haven't seen all of Zeus yet, just a few clips and a surprisingly few amount of reports including the message Yamada sent to his fans on Twitter.
He apparently told everyone how nice Inoue is and how Inoue went to watch Grasshopper so his fans shouldn't blow up on twitter like last year. Inoue even commented on how nice Yamada is.
It seems to me like a fun VS Variety show... but an obvious something is taking the enjoyment out of everything.
Why do the losers have to do that dozega thing? It's a game show and yes the scoring seemed weird. Both groups appeal to a different fanbase and the first Zeus seemed fine, funny even. The second seemed to have had a very negative effect on the participants and as a result on some of us viewers.
I for one do not like to see my favourite Idols bowing down again and again for the sake of some weird self-satisfaction.
Sakurai Sho is a wonderful person, a great leader and well-loved by his juniors. Even if the Johhnys keep losing consecutively for future games I would still consider him as the only one who can lead these boys with the same amount of patience and humility as he has exhibited so far.
I'm so proud of everyone! Every single one of them! The reports about Chi's injury and Yamada getting so beat up he could not perform further were so sad. But I'm proud of Yamada for holding up so far and leaving Inoue beat up too. I mean who you calling delicate? 15 minutes of push and shove and pain and bruises and blood. Not Yamada Ryosuke! He's a boss XD
If the scoring did not feel so suspicious, I would have been more lighthearted about the way it ended.
I was a bit upset about not being able to get the limited edition but the shipping cost more than my DVD. I will need to be more clever next time cause Johnnys are pretty heavy on the wallet XD
You already know we both have similar opinions about the JC album vs S3art so no point of me furthering the rant, just hoping the con will become a beloved part of my DVD collection. (They are all old jdramas I picked up over the years)
I can't wait till Grasshopper is finally out... it's so far away though... I mean April come on. But I'm glad it did as well as it did and I hope that means more badass roles for baby Yama <3
Have you heard about Yuto's new movie? I love him as an actor ever since he was a baby in Primadam and that 24hour special and Nobuta but I hate some of the projects he has been getting lately. SOME. The roles suit him very well of course but they are so typical! Salaryman/Banker/Third Wheel/Guy whose GF cheats on him because he is too naive etc. I mean I heard Pink and Gray was complicated and dramatic and he did very well so I was like this is going to be interesting but this new movie is a love story chronicling the couples' 7 years together before finally tying the knot. It's so generic. Most people will probably like it I guess... I don't. I mean I get the Salaryman thing because he got lots of recognition for Hanzawa Naoki but... bleh. So I'm back to focusing on Yama's fascinating career lol. It's just been fate that he has been in genre's I actually watch.
I watched the Fukkatsu Love preview... Toma's dream come true. So happy for them lol. OH and you got me there! If Ansatsu team does show up I wonder where Nino's loyalties will lie haha XD I also hope they have Yamamoto Maika this time instead of Hashimoto Kanna. She's a cutie but Kayano is like the main female lead... I wanna get to know the actress more. OH and I'm hoping desperately for the KISS SCENE XD
Right! I forgot about that part.. Perhaps it was Yama-chan's way to warn the fans not to bully Inoue-san anymore.. And really, despite his annoying persona on TV, I believe Inoue-san is actually good at heart..
Well, I think the basic of this whole Zeus thing is the rivalry between Johnnys and Geinins, and of how both armies kept on venturing to the opposite team's field of work (Johnny's onto funny variety shows, and Geinin onto dramas) that's why the loser has to admit losing by saying sorry to the opposite team.. The first time was kinda funny actually, though I couldn't stop cringing at the image of my idols face-planting on the floor.. As for the second one, I think it was a little bit- forced.. I could even see the clear discomfort upon the Geinin team when the Johnny's army were bowing before them.. And as I've mentioned in my post, the scoring was too fishy to be beliavable..
And yepp, I don't think there would be any other person who could lead the team better than Sho has done.. Despite his imperfectness, only Sho who could pull the show the way he did..
Me is proud of my boys too! They rocked! XD
Yeah, the scoring was the only thing which bothered me (beside the dogeza-thing, which is a given btw)
While JC can't beat the awesomeness of smart, it was spectacular enough to have that spot on your collection LOL
Yeah, but there's nothing else for us to do now.. Except waiting impatiently for April to come soon.. And yepp~ We all are anticipating more badass role for our Yama-chan soon.. Perhaps he could play the villain for once? I'm sure baby could pull any kind of role~ XD
Yeah, I have.. I kinda like the plot of Pink and Grey (No, I haven't watched it nor read the book) and when I heard that he will be playing a role of a normal man with normal love life, I was honestly disappointed.. That movie is most certainly not my plate.. I was never a huge fan of romance anyway, so yeah.. Yuto is soooo talented it's a little waste of his, well, talent.. But again, I think it was somehow a tactic of the agency.. You know, by assigning a certain member to focus on a certain genres.. I mean, it happened in Arashi as well.. And while I'm not sure whether it was planned or simply coincidence, I can't help but notice the same pattern.. Ohno almost always got a weird, and magical roles.. Sho with the mysterious, and melancholic characters.. Aiba with the naive and too-kind-to-be-real roles.. Nino aced the dramatic and emotional roles.. While Jun, well he's mostly this cool guy with romance thingy characters.. Now take a look at JUMP.. Yamada has his identic roles of playing the smart-ass with mystery as his trademark genre.. And Yuto with the plain, yet somehow hot-blooded characters.. Don't make me start on the others, or else I won't be able to stop.. But yeah, while it is true that Yamada is my ichiban, it just so happens that his dramas/movies are actually the genres I could watch.. My obsession now is for Yama-chan to play a medical drama (with him as the doctor, of course) Please forgive me.. I just have this soft spot for medical drama and I just couldn't resist! XD
Yepp.. Toma's dream has finally come true~ Well, not with Arashi this time, or so I predict LOL Agreed with you.. While Kanna-chan might be a cutie, I'd prefer Yamamoto Maika to be on it.. My thought exactly! I'm very desperate to see that KISS SCENE! XD (I wonder why Yamada never had any kiss scenes up until now.. Does the agency has something against him kissing someone that much? LOL)
