That's it back in Winnipeg
Well I am back from Toronto. What a great weekend!
Thursday was crazy, Rich picked me up at like 1:30 pm. We headed to the house to finish cleaning and the rest of the last minute things that needed to be taken care of. This took a little longer then we had hoped. We made it to the airport just in time to catch our flight, 2 minutes later and we would of missed it.
We drugged Boe (dog), on the way to the airport he was totally trying to fight off sleep. Pinky & Otis (cats) were not drugged. When we put all of them in the van to head to the airport Pinky Started howling and didn't stop until we got on the plane. Otis loved being in the kennel and didn't make a noise the entire trip. When we went through security we had to take the cats out of the kennels and carry them through the metal detectors. Otis Didn't much care much for getting out of the kennel, I had to drag him out. While carrying him through he freaked out when the detector beeped. Needless to say I got claws dug into me.
After a quick stop at Rich and Kathy's, I headed into Toronto for G2. What a great party. I pretty much stayed in the techno room the whole night. Hung out with h_ades at the party. Dave Clarke played a wikked set.
Cause Rich and Kathy live in Mississauga I had to wait for the GO buses to start running in the morning to get back. So I spent a lot of time roaming around Toronto Thursday and Friday night.
Friday meet crazyastro and went to watch the fireworks. Which were cool, but they were quite far away. After Tyson and I headed downtown grabbed some pizza @ pizza pizza and then walked around.
Saturday Tyson and I went shopping down on Queen. Between the two of us a lot of money was spent, but we each got some awesome new clothes. I saw a watch I really liked but decided not to buy it, I regret that choice. There was also the trip to lush to pick stuff up for keekapunk and one of her co-workers. When I walked in one of the people who work there said, "have a list there?" I said, "yes." He then took the list and started collecting the items. Should have checked before we left cause he had missed two of the things on the list. Which meant a second trip to lush had to be made.
I had a great time out there. Getting to hang out with Tyson was awesome, it was like the second time just the two of us have ever hung out.
Rich and Kathy drove me to the airport, once there we said our good byes. as soon as I walked into the airport I totally broke down. I am going to miss those two.
The flight home was delayed leaving Toronto, something about baggage taking forever to be loaded onto the plane. We left about 40 mins late but arrived only 10-15 mins late in Winnipeg. nubule and leanne were waiting for me when I got off the plane. Which was great cause I didn't think anyone was going to be there. The flight was pretty rocky, which made me feel ill.
