(no subject)
Halloween is my utmost favoritest holiday of the whole year, has been for years now. It sort of crept up on me this year, tho :c
Between the shift work which leaves me precious little awareness of linear time and ongoing stressfests over finances and applications, I just didn't catch Halloween fever this year. Instead I caught a regular fever yesterday, which really sucked, but Bosslady gave me a sick day today because she didn't want me infecting the customer base :T So sorta-win there. Not really sure what I'll do for tonight besides choir, and watching the third of the Evil Dead series with the boycreature (we started with the first film on Friday night when I was feeling too down in the dumps to go to Torture Garden like we'd planned). I'd considered re-using my Dark-Knight-concept Harley Quinn costume from last year's Sci-Fi X-mas party and heading to choir in costume, but honestly the folks at my choir are almost too artsy-fartsy for it to stand out much.
Anyhoo, tho Halloween has been a big bust this year, I shall not let November follow suit. I'ma stop letting my muscles remain all kindsa bunched up, stop moping over First World Problems, and start producing stuff. THIS year, I am taking on National Novel Writing Month, and THIS year I'ma kick its ass. Tomorrow is the kick-off, and I know that I'll be doing a comic project that's been bouncing around my brains for almost 8 years now. I'm not sure how it'll all come together, but this year I am making it to 50,000 words (/>o<)/
