Earned my employee t-shirt today :3 After a slightly embarrassing three tries at the recipes memory test, I finally came out with only 3 minor goofs. Nana O. has decided that my color should be red. Dunno how I feel about that - the color works for me, but it also makes me a Red Shirt <.< As long as I take home a few tips before I die in an ill-planned planetary excursion or random susplosion, I guess. Or zombie squids. Zombie squids seem likely.
Had a better morning than usual, 'cause I decided eff it, I'm digging into some of the 20 quid per month I've allowed myself for underground fare and tubing it to work. Yoga'd, had breakfast, and a shower, and time to get all my shit together for a night out after work [t-2 hours to dancin' times \(n.n\)] and an afternoon of dissertationing before my Saturday evening shift (not so much looking forward to that >.< Londinium is starting to crawl with tourists this weekend) And the dood who runs the corner store by boycreature's city hideaway gave me a "special discount" on the ice cream I am accustomed to get from there c: I heart neighborhood discounts. And I don't even live in this neighborhood.
