Apparently this was A Thing when the originator of the video posted it, so much so that her YouTube account was disabled. Now I understand that it is crucial to instill caution and respect in would-be communers-with-Mama-Nature's-childrens. Yes seals are BWEEEEEEEE FUZZY LARDBAGS WIFF BIG DEWEY COW EYES, but they are also very heavy, very powerful lardbags full of muscle and claws and teeth, and can easily eat your face off. And they will, if you start messing with them. And no, they do NOT have the same ideas as you about what "messing with them" entails.
But clearly, this woman is not messing. She's chillin' on a beach, taking some pictures, being nice and non-threatening. And the big fuzzy lump of adorable wants to see what that funny-lookin' furless animal in the bright stuff is :3 Because us mammals is curious critters. And cuddly. And baaaaaaawwwww I love the whole world every time I watch this <3 <3 <3
