6:15 pm - the sun has been down for two hours now. As I walk back towards my apartment across flat, shorn rice fields, I'm casting a shadow so dark from a light so bright behind me that I have to whip round and get out of the kei-truck's way before it runs me over.
There is no kei-truck behind me. Just the full moon.
