Wow oh gosh, how's everyone been? I haven't been able to draw much Sherlock in the past two weeks, apart from school keeping me busy, I've also finally decided to move back to DA. I took the most of this week actually making the move. So I'll be re-submitting much of my Sherlock work to my new DA abode. The little sketches and stuff will still be posted here on LJ though. And probably always here first before DA? Depends on how things turn out. But yeah! Above is a link to my new account on DA.
Anyhow, other then that, Onto the Sherlocks!

OK, so I've been going on about this Xmas Illustration gift project for a while now. So far, I only have 2 out of 9 Illustrations done (technically 7 because 2 aren't Sherlock related?) But anyhow, the point is, as I work on this at my snail-paste I've already ran into the problem of quality control. The first finished illustration was completed on February 5th, and as I look at it now, I can tell that my inking/linearting skills has gotten better since and the coloring could probably be improved. What I'm worried about is just that I'll be stuck in a perpetual vortex of drawing and re-drawing stuff. I'm already re-inking some lineart I had completed before on another unfinished piece! o___o

Ok so I randomly doodled this a while ago, and I think I was originally intending to go somewhere with this, but now I'm really not sure. The other day I dug this out and messed with the layer modes and whatever in Photoshop. Looks interesting enough. O__O And yes, if you ask me, those are intended to be John's hands. As I said, I'm not sure where I was going with this drawing anymore...xD;;;
And here's...something I doodled while listening to "90 Mile Water Wall" By The National it's not much but I still enjoyed it. Going to have to thank unicornempire for the mention, since I was introduced to the band through her recent journal with one of the most beautiful paintings I've seen. ;w;
And of course, if no one's seen or have been influenced by sadyna 's rendition of our favorite pair as females, well here's my version of Joan Watson. I'll do Fem!Lock another time. But honestly, I wanted to give Joan long hair, I imagine that she'd have it tied up in a pony tail, while Sherlock (I think regardless of gender, Sherlock is still Sherlock) would have short hair. BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD I CAN'T DRAW PONY TAILS TO WORK ON JOAN. OTL. Also, how do I female anatomy? ;w;
