A: OMG, he posted! B: I liked my view of the church thingy in the lower left better, it was strought out my window and the lower part of the dome was level with me or close to it.
I will miss Philly! It's a town that I've grown quite fond of. I'm sure that Pitt will be a great place too. But, spending the last 5 years in Philly has been fantastic! I hate to say "Goodbye" to Philadelphia.
(Although, I do plan to go back again sometime just to do some sightseeing. I've never toured around Philadelphia and I'd really like to.) Like so many of the cities that I've travelled to for conventions, I've seen very little of Philadelphia. (Except the south side, which I did get some look at with Snowie during New Years!)
I was pretty amazed too, actually. I didn't think that it would be visible either. Snowie pointed it out to me. (Having grown up in Philly, she knew where to look.) Even knowing that it looked correct, I still came home and mapped out both locations, just to be sure that we weren't looking at another building in error.
Although we, the convention that is, really did need to move to a larger venue it seems; I'm saddened by the fact that this hotel will be destroyed. It was a nice, and well maintained, hotel. I hate seeing a building that wasn't dilapidated leveled to make way for something else. It was a nice location and a great place for a convention.
