(23) Thanks; RATS!

Today was SO busy!  The three of us (Mom, Dad, Me) woke up around 8 and went to my doctor's appointment.  I'm doing much better and my doctor is glad that we finally got to meet.

Afterwards we went to breakfast in a place called Charlie's.  It was pretty good!  Then right after we went to the Salvation Army and my parents bought a couch AND loveseat for 100 dollars all together!  It's a great deal.  They don't have sales tax, you know.

I leveled all of my Pokemon to level 60, so I'm headed to The Elite Four.

After all of that we finally went back to our town.  My doctor's appointment was in Escondido and we live about 30 or 40 minutes away.  It's not a bad drive, there's a lot of pretty mountains and trees to look at if you get a little bored....but not if you're DRIVING.

We went home to find that our power was OUT!  Just a little bill issue.  The holidays make us all forget about little things!  So we headed to the area where we had to pay and we saw there was a Petsmart right next to it.  They have an animal care center there where they try to find homes for lost animals.  I swear, so many cats look like Velvet.  I thought I found her today.  :(

I held some of the rats that they had in the store, but they weren't for sale!  Ugh!

I've had a lot of rats in my childhood.  I stopped when I was 15, when an unfortunate accident with my favorite rat and a stray cat occurred.  I'll let you figure that one out.

We then went to Smart and Final, Target, Chick-Fil-A for Lunch, CVS, Petsmart again (a different one), Walmart, and then dinner at Rosa's Cafe in Old Town Temecula.

I wrote that we went to Petsmart again.  Well, there's two in the city and the one we went to had available rats!  I didn't think I was going to get one, but I did!  I got TWO, in fact.  They're both male and so adorable.

Now I just have to name them!

thanks, nablopomo, december
