In This Grave, Hour...

I went and saw The King's Speech last Saturday. The theatre was crowded, but well worth fishing around for seats. Excellent acting, a great story that does prove that a person who was an afterthought can achieve great things and overcome obstacles even they didn't think they could. The make-up was excellent- Michael Gambon could of easily passed for George V at a glance, this was also true for those who played Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson. Not to mention, Geoffery Rush as Lionel Logue was just brilliant with the deadpan humor. The best part-Hearing Colin Firth go off in a myriad of profanities a couple times in the movie.

And if you're curious, here is the speech he gave that the story revolves around.
