I Missed my Little Car!

The odd thing about the newer Chevys is that they are really short-people friendly from a driver's perspective with seat that made me tall, but you have to be tall to control the rear hatch! And drivers' side key lock only and internal hatch release only ? WTF? But it was much better than the pukey Taurus. They ended up detailing it after I swapped it. It really was that bad. Sandy gagged when I opened the trunk after it had been in the sun.

But no matter! I got my little Saturn back today, and I'm really impressed. I got my radio upgraded for an iPod connection (if I could only figure out where it plugs in...and if I only had an iPod) and stayed in my policy limits. And my dash is all back together. And they didn't just clean the glass up! I don't think my interior has been this clean since I bought it. Can I keep it that way?

Got an interview with a headhunter tomorrow. Should be interesting. I'm assuming they're going to find out just how crappy my typing speed is. My Monday interview was iffy- but it showed me where I should be setting my sights and what classes to take next.  Looks like Legal Research and Writing, Civil Litigation, a unit in keyboarding, and mebbe a unit of Exercise Science. I had to cancel the other interview because we were having lunch together at the office for a birthday and I couldn't really leave for "lunch." I'm also signed up at the Career Center at the school. I found out that a lot of offices hire directly from the program, so I'll keep casting my line there, too. I don't mind it taking a little time, but I'd like to be elsewhere by the end of July.
