#365positivity: 8/21: Fancy Dinner
It's been many years since I last had a white-tablecloth-expensive-wine-tiny-complex-dishes kind of a meal. And today's was fantastic. I had three courses: veal sweetbreads, Muscovy duck, and tiramisu. And each dish was superbly crafted with delicate attention to flavor and ingredients. The ambiance, the company, and the attentive waiters made for a very enjoyable two-hour interlude.
My greatest enjoyment was in watching Ms. Wee1 act so grown-up in her mannerisms, her presentation, and her conversation and the joy she was feeling in being a part of this elegant celebration.
