A party was held in honor of Wee2's first visit. A song was sung by Wee1, me, his aunt, and his cousin, composed for the occasion. Wee1 played Mouret's Rondeau while a red car-shaped cake was brought on stage and cut. Red-n-white balloon festooned the entire room with matching chairs; red being Wee2's favorite color and cars being his passion.
This was followed by a raucous, fiercely competitive treasure hunt. It wasn't a treasure hunt as such, more like a find-the-thing from a checklist. Each item found was rewarded with a specially designed envelope of a monetary prize, with the grand prize being a largish amount of money and which required Wee2 to be carried in post-haste to the ceremony in his PJs, no less, because by that time, he was almost asleep upstairs.
