What's appopriate clothing for a female writer? Shapeless long cardigan over nondescript faded skirt, scruffy shoes, and cat hair? Since I own neither of those things, fooey go my plans of looking properly authorial. Then again, the new wave of author like Melanie Benjamin, Alice I Have Been, debunk these frumpy tendencies.

In other news, the trip to London is coming up... (excited, nervous, extremely high expectations, too much jammed into itinerary)...
