Tour!!!
I'm leaving for tour now! LVK is going to Wayne, NJ, Rochester, NY, Erie, PA, Kitchner, ONT, Sarnia, ONT, Grand Haven, MI, Decorah, IA, and finally DCI finals in Madison, WI. I am so ready to spin in front of thousands, wish me luck!
Though I did not fit in at all socially in the beginning, I am finally starting to really like my LVK "family": The Council of Elders (Josh, Jeremiah, and Jim), my flaglets and wannabe flaglets (my "hero" Andrea, my "secret lover" Allee (whose boyfriend, Todd, is also my "secret lover", I might add), my "wife" Amanda, Rachael, Jon, and Danielle), and others (jLo, Luis, Bryan, Brandon, Gary, etc.). I can already tell tour ending is going to be sad.
On a brighter note, LVK is scoring really well. We broke 70 last competition, and for a few brief moments were ranked third in DivIII (and if you want to go into particulars, maybe even higher). We have yet to lose to another DivIII coprs in a competition, both as a corps and as a guard. I honestly think we can come out of Madison with a medal.
I would talk more about LVK and the people in it (because there are some interesting stories), but I have to do some packing.
I will be gone for quite a while. Expect me back either 9 August, or at the latest 11 August if I stay with the souvenir truck for DivI finals. For the two weeks between my arrival and when I leave for college 24 August, I will be without any responsibilities and looking to spend all my free time with you!
