"I hate the snow" - me 2 years go
I really do hate winter in Ithaca but not just because saying that makes me feel cool. Snow is pretty. The cold winters can suck on super cold days but most of the time they're not bad. They can even be fun in an exhilarating kind of way. Ithaca itself is a beautiful place to live. It is like a little piece of North American paradise. Ithaca does an excellent job in coalescing many of North Americas charms into a small comfortable space.
But you mix the two together and you get deadly white shit that will at any moment try to shove you off this mortal coil or some nearby cliff. Of which Ithaca has many.
Mother nature said "stay the hell away from steep hills and valley's when it snows" and I seem to be the only sane person who red the email. I am either moving to flat ground or some other state come next year.
