24 = Best Birthday :)
Yesterday was pretty great :) Usually working up to my birthday I get fairly depressed. It just seems to be the pattern. Over time I start believing that it doesn't matter and no one will remember anyway. This year I didn't say anything (or if I did it wasn't much). And I suppose I just didn't care that much. I didn't tell everyone on the planet not to forget and such... and to my surprise, they didn't :) I got calls from all sorts of people yesterday, and cards too. Really, it just made my day great having people call and say hi :) So the general feeling associated with yesterday is being loved and content. So that makes it the best I remember in a long time.
Matt took me out to dinner and we went shopping at the Mall of GA for birthday loot. Unfortunately the fates conspired against me and I could find no clothing I wanted (which was the idea), so we got a Wii instead. :) Its highly entertaining. And Matt said I can get any game I want when we go to Best Buy later, so I'm going to get Harry Potter because I'm a nerd! Unless I find something better of course! And Season 3 of Boston Legal. Its going to be great.
Today is football day too, so we are going to hang out with people and tailgate before hand. That will be amusing as well. So all in all, its a good thing.
