Internet, stop being ridiculous.

So the only good thing about Eat Pray Love - okay, two good things, the second being Javier Bardem with his Australian son, which I find so inexplicably hot. The first good thing was how amazing all the food looked. Fig and prosciutto? I am down for some of that.

I had a mango today, which in itself isn't out of the ordinary I guess. It was a mango, and I ate it. The thing is I never really liked mangoes - I'll eat them but I wouldn't go out of my way to find some. It's because the first summer I was in Brisbane, I think, my parents used to buy fruit and veg in bulk because it was cheaper, but it also meant that we were stuck eating whatever it was about two weeks in a row, and I overdosed on mangoes. So started my indifference to them, until about two or three weeks ago we started getting mangoes at work again, and the sheer smell made me realise how much I missed them. Like, where the hell have you been this long, cold winter, mangoes? Now get in my belly.

Today's was an R2E2 mango. Maybe next time I'll go for a Kensington.

Going with the whole food theme: I tried some liverwurst the other day, hello acquired taste. It is strangely compelling though.
