i'm a little bit emo right now...
but the more people i talk to, the more i'm beginning to realize what life is about.
life is about making promises to a friend to paint a picture, if he'll learn a new song on his guitar. it's about showing the picture to him and listening to him play his song, and feeling accomplished because neither of us really had the time but we did it anyway. i'm just beginning to realize this. i always knew, but now i can see how important it is. if importance were placed on every good thing, i think people would be happier. i'm happier now. more than i've been for a while. and it's not fragile or amorphous or undefined, it's real, and i hope it carries through.
