Stuff and stuff, with a northeasterly front of stuff
Hey all...haven't posted in awhile, and depending on when little M arrives, who knows how long after that, eh? =)
Things are still a bit in limbo as to delivery date. Tiffs having small contractions all the time, but according to the DR and her friends that have had babies, this can go on for awhile, up to two weeks even. We've resigned ourselves to the fact our baby-to-be is a stinker, who doesn't want to listen to us, and who will come out when they are damn well good and ready. Already acting out, doesn't bode well for the future. ;)
The house is still amazing. Its still a bit surreal to wake up in something you designed and built. There is still little stuff, mostly windowsills and trim that need to be done, but the house is completely functional, warm, safe, and relaxing. I now like to refer to myself as plumber extrodinaire, as our plumbing contractors never called me back to come and install our garbage disposal, dishwasher, or other sink. So, dammit, I did it myself, and gosh darn it, everything works great, and no leaks, not even the first time. w00t!
What else...oh...mi padre is flying in tomorrow night to stay for a couple of weeks to help prep/help out with the baby, when it arrives, if it arrives. We're beginning to wonder! He's staying till the middle of Dec, which is awesome. We're looking forward to his baby-whisperer skills, and his cooking, he makes some great meals! He is the king of breakfast, and I owe all my breakfast skills to him.
What else...baby's nursery is complete...closet stuff in, window shades up, all baby paraphernalia assembled and ready, night light (check), so whenever baby's ready, the room is ready for them.
