the dead (if you're talking about the joyce story) is one of my favorite short stories EVER! oooh, i love it. someone made a movie of it -- we watched it in my short story class last year, and it has angelica huston in it, attempting an irish accent. very odd.

yup thats the one, i actually kinda liked the story, i need to read it again, i rushed through it the first time, i think ourt library has that movie, i'm a thinking about seeing it on monday when we should have class, but it was cancelled because the prof is just so cool. do you think the movies helps one to understand the story? i hope its the test we get on the final, because honestly i didn't get the death of ivan illych. oh well...
