Next step on the path.....

Well friends, I decided to finally do it..

I am putting in notice to my job today that I am quitting...

Those of you who know me, know how long I have wanted to teach, but life, work and several thousand I still owed to my original University kept me from moving forward. Well, I finally paid all the money back to my old college and once I got my transcripts, I found that Texas would take all of my old college credit from 16 years ago..

So, I decided to take a few classes this summer and have been having a blast. Had to write a 2 page paper on W.E. B Dubois and I was stressing over giving too much info!!!

Well, in looking at it, I could finished college, and do my student teaching and find a teaching job within a year and a half. But that would mean I would have to take 15 to 17 hours a semester for 4 semesters. The only way I could focus on that was to focus only on it.

So, i talked to the wife and we decided that I would quit my job and focus only on college and get it finished.

I am finally on the path to doing what I wanted to do since I was 11 years old...to teach..

So, for the next year or so, you guys will have to deal with me going a bit nuts, but it is a good, progressive nuts....

I am so siked!!!
