Cloudy, with a chance of sun
I've been trying to clean the house. It's grueling, and quite frankly I'd rather spend my days taking naps. I saw the movie Summer Wars recently, and really loved it. Then I proceeded to regret not buying the limited edition Summer Wars t-shirt at Anime Fair last year, because I remember looking at it and thinking it was pretty damn cool. And if there's one word in all of the languages I know that's like catnip to me, it's 限定 ('limited'). So what I actually remember from Anime Fair is looking at it and getting mild seizures. Hitomi escorted me away, asking me at least three times if I wanted to buy it. I also rather regret not tracking down the second Summer Wars doujinshi one of my favorite doujinkas made. The first one I picked up because I happened to see it at Mandrake one time and recognized her style. I didn't understand anything about it until now, but it was really sweet.
I have a lot of things I'd like to write about, but I have trouble concentrating on anything long enough. These include among other things:
Some elaboration on my old, old entry on Japanese sex sounds.
An essay on a Japanese artist I've been quite fascinated by lately.
Something about the concepts of masochism and sadism.
A lot of stuff about the Japanese and mother-child incest. Enough to fill like four entries. Seriously, you thought thinking about Nazis non-stop was bad.
