Crunch time

At some point in the week I hurt my side coughing. It was okay, it hurt all the time but not so much. I could even lift weights. However, yesterday something went crunch in there. At first I thought it was a good kind of crunch, that maybe whatever was screwed up in there had unscrewed itself, but apparently not. There's a very sharp pain when I breathe, cough and move. I haven't tried lifting weights yet, but I can't do sit-ups, it hurts way too much.

People have been known to actually fracture their ribs coughing, but this has nothing to do with anything like that. Years ago, when I had a bad cough, the cartilage in my ribs got inflamed. That hurt a lot, and it probably didn't hurt anywhere near as much as a broken rib. Now it doesn't hurt even as much as the inflamed cartilage did.

I should start working out for real. At least do a lot more sit-ups to get my abs into shape. It's nice that whenever I get the urge to work out my bi-ceps, they fill in quite quick. Of course the real challenge comes when you're trying to get muscle definition instead of just muscle. I always fail, because it would take so much more work than I'm ready to do.
And, of course, the real real challenge is accepting that I simply can never get the bulging bi-ceps of my dreams, not with female physique. So it's not really from the amount of effort and time I'm ready to invest like I keep telling myself.

This is all that's run through my mind lately. This and the possibility of getting asthma.

I added Sauna into MovieLens sometime this week and someone alse has already rated it too. But alas, that someone rated it only one... C'mon, it wasn't that bad! At least the actors were good... But someone's tagged it "to see", so hopefully it'll get more ratings. Why am I concerned about it, I don't know.
