Better late than never

Sorry I don't post as often as I should. I don't really spend a lot of time online, well, I do, but not time where I can just sit down and privately blog, usually Jessie is up and about, or sitting next to me waiting till I get done checking things so he can play one of his games (he's now addicted to UB Funkeys).
Christmas was good, I went to my brothers and he went to a friend in Champaign's that's like his second family. He picked me up on his way home, then we spent new years at my brother's house. My birthday though, he took me to see Jekyll and Hyde the musical, which was awesome, then last Sunday we went to my other brothers to visit him and Rory, my dog. Previously, I had asked Debbie (Jessie's mom) if I could bring Rory here, after a week or two of considering it, she told me no, she was afraid of her allergies. Jessie was all for bringing her here though, he's wanted a dog or just a pet to play with, then we went up to visit her and I could feel my mood lift. I've been a bit down since she's been away. Then Jessie tested how much she sheds, called his mom and negotiated bringing her back. He's been being really modest about it, but it's ok, it really meant a lot to me and everyone is getting along. Debbie has even bought Rory a bunch of toys and a pillow bed. Her only problem, she sleeps too much, and when you're sleeping (well, mainly when Jessie is sleeping) she tries to wake him up to play. It's cute though, I closed the bedroom door today when I got up and about an hour later, she was growling and barking softly to have me open the door to let her in. Then I did go in to bring Jessie coffee, Rory jumped on the bed and tried to manuever herself to him to try and lick his face to wake him up, I stopped her when I brought him his coffee, but had to pick her up to get her out of the room.

Oh, and we also got new jobs at Kable News. I hated working at Focus, I'm not really comfortable with telemarketing to people. At Kable we'll be answering phones for customer service, pretty similar to what we were doing, only, no sales. Better benefits as well, employees get free memberships at the Nash Recreation Center, which is good for me because I've gained about 5 lbs since I moved in with Jessie. It doesn't sound like much, but when you go from being 121 lbs to 141 in one year, it sucks.
We'll also be working 10am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday so it means we'll be able to go dancing on Sunday nights at the Willowbrook in Chicago. I was having some problems catching on and being self conscious around Jessie when he was trying to get me to dance, but we've had our friend Julie coming to learn with me and it's been getting better, I just really need to work on my frame, I always break it, but Jessie is a really good teacher and we still have thursday dances in Rockford as well, which any of you in the area are welcome to come with! Just meet us at Jessie's to ride with or call for directions. It's $3 to get in and there's a lesson beforehand, and depending on funds (which will be flowing more freely next month) go out for coffee before or after or even food. Anyhow, Rory is still outside playing and it's too cold for her little paws to be out there this long so toodles!
