Got myself a new eyeglass prescription. Everything is AMAZINGLY clear which is great, but there's still a problem. It's... hard to explain. Everything around me moves within the lens/with the curve of the lens if I turn my head. My old pair aren't like this at all... I'm wondering if this prescription is a little too strong or something? They told me to try it out for a week and see if I don't adjust to it or whatever.

Driving in my car is amazing now though, I can see ALL THE SIGNS LIKE WAY SOONER LOL honestly it was hard to read street signs before until I was right up on the street e_e haa. And since I'm sitting still in my car and mostly looking forward it's not distorted at all.

But as I'm sitting here at my computer it's so so awful. I can't even focus on the words I'm typing, nothing on the screen seems stationary to me. This is really straining my eyes to even look at my screen. DX what the hell?? I really really hope this goes away soon and that it goes back to normal. Do eyes really need a WEEK to adjust to a new pair of glasses?

I wish I had the munz for eye surgery :\ but you also have to be 25 years or older for that ahah. I mean, I have no problem with wearing glasses and I like them, but.. this just isn't right. If I could use my old pair of lenses just for the computer I would, but I got new lenses for my current glasses... so right now my old lenses are in my purse without frames ahaha. :|

Does anyone else have experience with getting new glasses? Is it hard at first to adjust?

fuck, apparently real life is interesting, not cool, shit sucks, glasses, ohgod
