The storm
The clock strikes midnight. That’s odd, you could have sworn it wasn’t that late, but it certainly looks dark enough outside. Maybe that’s just these looming storm clouds.
When the last chime rings, the heavens open up.
Somewhere in the City of Gears, at the same time, a door opens.
Anyone unlucky enough to be wandering the city streets might see the glowing eyes in the dark, just before they’re attacked.
OOC: Whoops, who let the Heartless out? %D They're going to be swarming the city and wreaking all sorts of havoc. However, they seem to be avoiding the castle for the most part. You might find a straggler lurking in the shadows, so watch out!
Also, it's raining. It will be dark and stormy for the duration.
Here is how this is gonna work: there will be two open logs! One log will be for people who want to go out and fight the Heartless and defend the city. It’ll also be your job to find the portal they’re spilling out of and close it. The other log will be for people who can’t or don’t want to fight. You guys will stay in the castle and take in any frightened NPCs seeking sanctuary from the city. Both closing the door and holding the line in the castle may be a little harder to do than you first think.
The logs will go up tomorrow even if it kills me (lol okay no) but for now feel free to have general reactions. :D
