Hello Zenithia would you like an ALIEN INVASION
Sup guys we are gonna do a plot is that ok? Ok cool here we go:
This plot is based off the game Beyond Good & Evil. For those who have never played it (YOU SHOULD), the primary antagonists were an alien race called the DomZ. In a nutshell, the DomZ are freaky hivemind insect-like things that abduct people, take them to their base, and suck them dry of their life energy. Sounds pleasant, right? Well, the DomZ are coming to Zenithia. They’ve got a base on a small planet not far from where the castle/city is currently drifting and they’ve noticed us, so they’re sending a ship to harvest delicious, delicious innocent people.
Here’s what’s going to happen: Scrooge is going to invite a few people along to go stargazing in one of the towers in the city. While there, the DomZ will strike and kidnap them as well as some nameless NPC townspeople for good measure. HOWEVER, someone who was with Scrooge at the time is going to barely escape and come back to the castle to raise the alarm. Then, it’s RESCUE PARTY TIME! Anyone still at the castle can volunteer to attack the DomZ spaceship before it gets away and rescue everyone that was captured. Fighting will ensue, but ultimately because we’re awesome, the DomZ will be forced to retreat. VICTORY!
Everyone goes back to life as normal, but that won’t be the end, though! What happens next will be a surprise until we get to this point.
So, for this I need two groups:
The hostages: The people who get kidnapped. Preferably a small group so that there’s plenty of people left to form a rescue squad. While you’re kidnapped, feel free make panicked voice posts or something from the DomZ ship that will ~magically~ appear on the castle network (how… curious). If you are a robot, please to be in human form when you are kidnapped. I’ll pick the lone escapee randomly from names from a hat or something.
The rescue team: Anyone who wants to kick some DomZ butt and show them that you don’t mess with Zenithia. Pretty straightforward here. There’s no limit to how many people can join the rescue.
You don’t have to participate if you don’t want, this event is entirely optional. Also, if you DO want to participate but don’t want your character to be kidnapped or go aboard a strange alien ship, they can still provide help in the form of mission control, moral support, and just generally being helpful around the castle and the city. There will probably be some explosions in the city when the DomZ first strike that will need cleaned up, so there’s that, too.
