Life: My boring talk again
Honestly I have kinda died on art the last year or so(thus less than 3 painting a whole year) but since I am already enrolled I am not backing out. It was at a point of "i just dun want to draw"
I actually started to like drawing again. The only draw back here is I don't have enough time and deadlines are on my heels all the time.
Thus I have absolutely no life. I may enjoy drawing and painting but hey, I have so much that I need to do but so little time. And enjoying drawing is not enjoying drawing stacks of things thats practically the same (hello again boots, hands and stack of animation. Especially hands, about 600drawings of hands in 2 weeks does this to you)
I need to go bellevue to buy my textbooks cos my god damn debit card is STILL not here so I can't order online. I am going to bitch at the bank again on monday if i don't get it in my mail box by the time I get home from class. I won't be so pissed if I didn't recieve any of my bank statements, but since I got my statements it means the address they have is certainly CORRECT.
Of course one of the books i NEED is out of stock! YES I HADN'T GOT MY DAMN TEXTBOOKS YET. I went for test without a textbook to study. GO ME. I probably have 50% or so right?
I need to vacuum my apartment. Its not filthy yet but I don't want to deal with it when it gets to that point.
I need a desk organiser. I have no space and I accidently washed my brush in my mug of tea as things are so close together. Yes took photo of this a couple of days back when waiting for ink on my sketchbook to dry. Yes I don't even have enough space to lay my sketchbook open without having half of it on my tablet.
And bloody animation assignment is ridiculous, given on thursday, due on tuesday, and have 3 parts to it. Basically its as good as Friday and Monday to work on it so its pretty impossible thus its the weekend assignment. And even better, we are shooting on 1s and not 2s. In poly just 2nd part of this assignment have 3 weeks allocated to it and was shot on 2s, so its like half the amount of drawings needed. I am so screwed.
I guess its partially my fault when I was later than most people when it comes to registering for classes. So i kinda... have all the heavy things at the start of the week. Art101(i need to do thew sketchbook like now) and art115(history) monday, ani101, film and eng116(literature) tuesday, art115 and bio100(anatomy) wednesday, animation literature thursday and art101(lecture) friday. If i have a choice I will keep most my time table the same, just move art101 to full day friday with both the lab and lecture on the same day.
my thurs and fri is pretty light, but damn.
i can never seem to have a day of rest on the weekends at all. Its like I NEED to go to buy some supplies and I can't seem to find time for it, Yes of course me oversleeping is NOT helping. I wanted to wake at 6am today, I forgot to switch alarm on and I slept till 1pm. Crap. Then its raining so I don't really have the modo to travel to school to rush animation..
The last art101 lecture was AWESOME though. International talk like a pirate day, our professor was dressed like a japanese pirate(carried a katana too) and was giving the lecture in pirate talks. Capt'n BeckAAAAR ftw. The best part is how he applied the art principles into piracy and strategies in robbing the fleets. Imagine what happened to terms like Values and Scatter Gun. When one of the senior was going to run off he wanted her to name 3 fluid mediums before leaving... and the answer that was given and accepted was ink blood and rum. 7 principles of animation was hilariously applied to piracy too.
And we have a couple of students dressed as pirates as well. If I manage to get time to make it I am so dressing as a pirate next year, at least I won't be the only odd ball!
I am happy that my jacket and boots got here with only one redelivery. The company set it to must have someone in that exact address to sign for it so my apartment leasing office can't do it for me. I am a little sad that I am slightly swimming in the smallest size they have, no point in trying to return for a size smaller since they will not have that =(
Men's cutting FTL? My shoulders looks quite abit wider with it on, alot of space at my waist, The arm hole is definately cut for a much buffer person. I guess when I seriously pick up a bike I will need to buy a female cut one. This jacket is really heavyweight,(woot buffalo leather) nice and warm too, I think if I leave the quilted lining inside and keep the vents closed its probably warmer than my puffy so I might wear it alot more when it gets colder. Hell, I think if I wear long johns, long sleeve tee and maaaybe sweater with that I will be pretty set. Thats where the larger size would work wonders =P
I am surprised on how heavy the boots are too actually. It didn't look half as heavy as it is. I actually got slightly tired walking O_O
And I have always been wearing heavier shoes since secondary school days(13~16yr old, I started choosing the slightly heavier school shoes) and then stuff like boots made for construction with metal stuff in it..
But its a weight I probably can get used to in a few days, I really hate how my calves are so big, I think i need to wear it a few more times for the leather to soften a little more before I can get the one on my left leg zipped all the way up. I got like about an inch of zipper I can't get up cos my calf is bigger. I got a feeling I can never wear some boots that I adore. Sucks to be like this sometimes. I sent mail to another shop to ask about the calf size they said adjustable straps. Problem is the MAX size adjustable might not fit me... I have seen much... well, rounder caucasians with much thinner calves =(
And its not problem with fats there, its like mostly big bones and a HUGE lump of muscle. I should take a pic of it sometime when i tip toe, its pretty much like ostrich.
The boots+jacket=16 lb, go figure!
Love the new leather smell tho <3
